I am a 37 yr old Status Indian living in the city of Victoria British Columbia. I have been clean and sober for the last 17 years, my younger sister and only family member passed away from overdose about 6 years ago, she was an artist as well and her passion lies in music. I am employed at the Our Place Society and have just gone through homelessness again myself.
