Please can you tell me more about how the overdose crisis affected you directly?

It killed my eldest son, devastated his grandmother, rattled his two sisters and two brothers and hurt his parents forever.

What role does art play for you in terms of your experience with this crisis?

It helps me feel again

What does this particular artwork mean to you?

It tells my story without words or sounds or tone

How do you feel about sharing your art among the works of others affected by this crisis?

Honoured and heard and understood

What does participating in this art show mean to you? What to you hope comes from this project?

That people change their negative views about addiction and the people killed by it or controlled by it. Sure changed my mind!
